AquaShield Australia Pty Ltd has launched its Australian subsidiary, marking the Australian expansion of a Philippine healthy living company and a shift in how its water products will be distributed across Australia and New Zealand.
From September 2026, the company will move to a direct-to-retail model, replacing its current exclusive distribution arrangement with Powermove Distribution.
Under this structure, AquaShield Australia will become the primary trading partner for retailers. The transition is expected to maintain continuity across supply, customer service, warranties, and promotional activity.
The move comes as demand for premium water appliances continues to grow in Australia, driven by increasing consumer focus on water quality, health, and convenience.
The local operation is led by a team with longstanding experience across the business ecosystem: Peter Bosscher (Managing Director), Tom Paltridge (Director Finance, Supply & Operations), and Michael Aquilina (Director Sales). Collectively, they bring more than 50 years of experience across category development, retail expansion, and brand management.
AquaShield Australia is part of the AquaShield Group, the global licensee for its healthy living portfolio. In Australia, the company’s water range includes reverse osmosis systems, multi-stage filtration solutions, instant heating and chilled water appliances, and under-sink and countertop systems.
The company indicated plans to expand beyond water filtration into a broader healthy living offering, including additional categories focused on hydration, wellness, and home solutions.
As part of its local brand strategy, AquaShield will continue its partnership with Isaac Heeney to support consumer awareness and engagement.

AquaShield Australia Pty Ltd is part of the AquaShield Group, with ownership linked to AquaShield Singapore and other affiliated entities under Guangdong Deerma Technology Group, a publicly listed company.
AquaShield operates across multiple categories including water solutions, hydration products, and select wellness and home appliances.
